so. yeah. we have a NEW CLASSMATE! and, as you've probably guessed, she's Theophila. pretty looooooong name, but she's from the US, Vermont. near New York ( The Big Apple ) where the BIG BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM FACTORY is. and she's gone there. like duh.

we made a FABULOUS first impression. swaying our arms and singing Gelang Sipaku Gelang with a "1: what are we doing?? 2: i don't have the faintest idea!" attitude. i was kinda stunned cos' she appeared chinesey. when she came to class, she immediately became a Queen, a spot to die for. at the back of the class, where the 3 Royals beside. i am proud to be near that area. anyway, she gave us chocolates ( yum. ) Lindt. i luurve. Ah Ee introduced me to this marvel. yepp. so i'd already tried milk chocolate, moved on to dark. not half bad. but then again, chocolate is NEVER bad.

we invaded like a swarm of flies landing on a carcass ( no offence, just describing the situation in exaggerated detail. ). she got to do the intro thing anyway. into shopping. which got her into a heated discussion with Si Jia and Sheryl about brands and stores. Banana Republic, Ipods, DKNY, Gap, etc stuffz. let me state some points which she mentioned about American schools that may be of use to our case when we attempt to explain WHY we are migrating there.

schools. there. :
-NO formal attire except no spaghetti stripes, shorts/skirts must not be above two hands pressed to your sides
-Air-con
-Sadly no recess
-Boys and Girls in her school
-Cooking lessons
-Sewing...??
-School Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm as the school would like students to have ample sleeping time ( so considerate )
-Homework quota can only reach max 1 & 1/2 hours total doing time


i think thats enough to make us drool. her shoes were probably wet, most possibly soaked.
