Today is one of those days on wings which you really gotta be thankful for.

Especially DRAMA :)

Yeah damn happy.

Today we learnt about voice projection? Except that it was how to push the words out through your body, and we did many run - LEAP! (while saying it) - freeze exercises, and then we added the word 'throw' to the fray, and soon we were mastering it haha. And when we returned to the short text - Prologue for Romeo and Juliet, we did much better haha :) the effect was there. And we were all really afraid of not having time to practice / form our practical - cause oshkoshbGOSH our practical is THIS FRIDAY - but my group were really on track today haha, and we sorta blocked and devised the whole thing so its pretty much done and REALLY COOL. Like cliches to the minimum seriously. Though with 3 people its hard to get ideas and actually carry them out cause there's limited stage presence. WE DID IT! conquered on the dot when everyone finished practising haha. we just have to memorise our super lot of lines, rehearse, get RED SHOES, and yeh we're done, baby.

Plus, meeting dates all fixed. Yeahh.
And after our assessment and everything - we're going to work in new groups, maybe 4-5 even ! and its going to be so cool and eggciting haha. New ideas, new project, etc. Though its like going to be on a sick-ified text. Certain dramaddicts feel that the word Eunuch - has a sorta ring to it.

Yeah new beginnings. Though its going to be for O levels, which is a tad scary.
And Indiv! Don't really like it blah. So alone and stuff, no one to bounce ideas off or gain inspiration from ): More brainstorming haha.
And now we have Mr Joshua and Ms Bridget observing our classes for a few weeks. A-nother Wong HAHA. Mr Jason gonna teach us more about Lighting, cause he's IC of some lighting production company thingamagic. Cool!

the hype for productions has gone up.

Thus, was excited to receive an invite for HCIEDC (hci english drama club)'s production, MORE! and hope all of us dramaddicts can go haha. Hope it'll be good :)

Kay. When someone asked me interestedly a few days ago how was drama - and I said its OK, great - that was when I was dreary and weary from not completing anything, procrastinating, AVOIDING, our Greek Theatre piece - and not looking AHEAD. AND NOW fiery passion for drama has REKINDLED. (like a test for Oxygen gas or something) HoohahwooHOO!

I somehow can't upload a happy picture to show my extreme happiness. But I firmly believe that the power of a four-hundred-mega-watt smile can be expressed through an emoticon.

Noteworthy but not Memorthy
Had a surprisingly refreshing time when I returned to church after ages of like, missing church. Good to know some fellas missed me :D heard the usual gossip and 'verything. Glad I'm not embroiled like just a bystander. Its fun that way. Ahh I love Reach the World. Happy Youth Sunday to all you youths! Haha. Yes I am going to make a conscious effort. ;D

Aida! & her friend. Shuqing! & the gang. Yeah we're all going to take the bus to Botanics together! And it turned out that lol, it was a super small gathering. So Sharon and I split from the drama peeps ): I assembled my new speakers and got some groove going man. Its supposed to be a freaking party! Anyway turns out that people turn UP fashionably late, so Rohan Rachel and Greg came later haha. OH I forget to mention that excrutiatingly tight hug by Enting. Thanks though :D makes me feel missed by a CAPper. Aw remember how you used to give such hugs to EVERYONE in the poetry slam room. Haha kay, so I'd take pictures in the grass, of the grass, and occasionally (okay for quite a long time lah.) sidle over to the dramaddicts, hence abandoning the CAP gathering we originally went there for. I know right. Anti-social shiz. It turned out awkward? but at least all right in the end. They loved my speakers and I got some great shots with the dramaddicts.

TURNS OUT, they're also going to ACJC :O wow like entire CAP council 09 was there haha. Anyway yes I did notice, Eleanor was in the last piece. She's pretty haha. Gosh every girl in ACJC is pretty, please. The concentration of pretty-ness is way high. Its saturated, k. Okay ACJC CULMINATIO. The acting was alright. Especially liked the set design, props, lighting etc. Simple, but effective. The dance number at the end that told the story was tre beautiful. The only little irk was that they sort of told the story directly to the audience - and not really tell them through actions, which would have turned out extremely powerful - but it was touching in the end so thats fine. I saw Nathan Hartono clearly for the first time and yes he did quite well, and as I hear ^___^ he can sing too and looks good. I'd never seen a real hyperventilation until today.

And I think close to nobody,
can appreciate my favourite kind of music.
Cause I was having a rare moment alone with my new speakers, fiddling with my iPod and decided to play Buble (ahh the magick) and suddenly Purple Rohan popped up behind and I laughed and said - listening to weird music. Hahaha I like weird music - and he shook his head.
Its at times like these, that I need you most Marie!

PLEASE BRING ALONG your ez link card (to take the bus?), money (about 8 bucks maybe? for a possible movie afterwards) and SOME FOOD, just a little tupperware or picnic basket so everybody can share some food.

Our rough idea of stuff to do will be:
- Play Frisbee (Can Greg bring the Frisbee?)
- Camwhore (Megan brings Camera)
- Climb Trees (Um.. if you're not afraid of getting hurt and have insurance :D)
- BOTTLE GAME (If there's flat ground available! PLEASE BRING YOUR WATERBOTTLES !!! :D:D:D)
- Wild Hopping to Music (Think I'mma bring a music player :D)
- Eat (We'll be (not) environmentally friendly for once ): and I'll bring plastic cutlery, cups and paper plates for everyone. Food's every person's responsibility kay!)
- Talk (Reminisce about CAP ♥)

Other Technicalities:
- Buses 66, 151, 153, 154, 67, 171 go to the Botanic Gardens.
- For food, you're not restricted actually though NO to fried ants and cockroaches which is a delicacy in some countries, please :D maybe finger food, a bag of chips or a 1.5 litre bottle of drink will do. SMS your councillors as to what food you're bringing (Sorry for the trouble Gee and Mm) so that we have a bit of all kinds :D
- DO ARRIVE PUNCTUALLY AT 10 AM ! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! You may arrange among yourselves to go in groups so that y'all can take the bus or MRT together and remind each other not to be late haha. Touch wood if I myself can't wake up :D
- For the movie, we were thinking Night At The Museum 2 cause 1) It's PG! 2) It's Nice! Okay maybe some of you have watched it before, so we can discuss it on that day if you guys DO feel like watching one after the picnic. It's perfectly optional to go for the movie :) but do try to go for the outing so we won't lose our bond :)

Michael Corbridge omggggg from the Pillowman and Much Ado About Nothing! He was teaching Drama and I was :OOO -gagushhhhhhhNOOOOOWAAAAAAAY- so this is for everyone who has watched the plays he has acted in haha.

The auditorium when its empty. I like it when its very empty or very full. Cause its either real quiet and I can hum a little loudly, or its plenary lectures OR, THE AMAZINGLY HILARIOUS GET TOGETHER TIME AHAHAHHAHA. CAP Council 09 is the most amusing group, they should just start an entertainment show. I'm sure everyone has heard of Anjunay by now (can't spell sorry!) & Rohan Rivalry haha. Chu & lighthearted jibes (at her and at other people) and various impersonations that will earn you waffles and magician pick up lines.
Btw aCAPella is a fantastic idea hahhaha I would always ravenously chomp up every issue once its in my clutches :)
