It was my first time going to a GIG, and what better way to be introduced to the local music scene with a CARACAL gig. Thanks tons to Hillzery and Colleen for inviting me! Zanery, we are so ( dragging Nick along?(: ) GOING to Baybeats next year! I hope I'mallowed(: Hillzery and Leen cross your fingers too! They bought corn. And I spotted Field FIRST(: "Hey!" -waves- -H, L and I pause and stare, slowly rotating our hands- "Wow, buy corn don't know how to share with your brother!" -He holds his prettaye girlfriend's hand and they smile merrily along- "Gotta run!" -They throw away the corn- The sound system was coolio. Really, it AMPed up everything. There wasn't such a big crowd at first but boy did it go! There were chairs though. Hillzery's cool Mom said, what kind of gig is it with chairs. So un-cool. Maybe. Cuz it's related to some radio thing. Radio stations are affiliated with chairs. So they gotta include the chairs. WHATEVERLOLS(: So it wasn't exactly moshing! I could see Leen grooving out of the corner of my eye(: I knew some of the songs, and enjoyed all of them - 45 min gig, I almost couldn't take my eyes off the stage. You know, Chris ( lead singer ) is awesome. I can really feel that he's putting his soul into the lyrics, into the music. And he's not afraid to break bells in front of the audience. Caracal seriously = SOUND. No other phrase to describe them! Hillzery took a few weird pix with Hillzery's Cybershot. Geezer, I could pretend that they were all smiling at me(: God Blessed Camera-(girl)!. [Chris] [Field] [Gabriel] [Martin] [Kacey Meals] are the best, the best! ;d Thanks tons Leen for helping me order the Caracal shirt! And the pins, next time maybe;(: Haha so I finally got to see DJ?(: Sorry for saying "I'm not supposed to know you." Was a joke, evening with you ended quite awkwardly:O one of the best nights of my LIFE if that could make up for it! I need Pheonix. Remind me to research on some other local bands in Singapore, yahs! -Allura -A Vacant Affair -Electrico -Plainsunset -Ronin -West Grand Boulevard And I still really don't know how this hype came about.
