U14s

God, where to start? Well let's start off with a simple: We didn't break it.
Factually:
Round 1 - Won over Australian International School [AIS]
Round 2 - Lost to Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) [ACSI]
Round 3 - Lost to Singapore Chinese Girls School [SCGS]
Spiritually:
We're all real down of course, that we didn't break for semis. Although this is a personal opinion and maybe isn't elaborated to what a judge would like to hear or what someone has to say about it, I feel that we did deserve a chance to go further in the Youth 14s competition; we gained great progress and improvement, learned about each other's talents which just shot through right out on the floor, had team spirit (even being agitated together, although thats not very good hahaha) and most importantly, worked hard. Our efforts combined was like a bomb shelter. Okay thats a very weird analogy. I don't like terrorists. I shall leave the analogy-ing to Yvette and Sharon in future. Anyway, the bomb struck (U14s) and we like didn't go down under because we had strong foundations (Xuwen the best trainer ever and seniors the most supportive ever). We steeled ourselves with hard bricks (effort) and cement (the attitude of never being complacent). We painted a rainbow on the bomb shelter for good measure. (Wdh okay this means we play and still have fun amidst the stress) And in the end, we received.. a dent. Not enough -hopefully, to kill us and destroy our morale, but to spur us on, so that we can be the best, unbeatable, award-winning, indestructable, Missus Incredibles bomb shelter. And make Claire, Xuwen, Seniors, Friends, All the people who pin their hopes on us and St. Nicks proud because we have saved lives (er not literally. Doesn't connect at all but it means at the end of the day we have gained knowledge and a better impression of world issues; winning is not everything but it does prove your standard and gaining recognition for the school) I just hope that from now on, if we pick up this speed and just be so spurred on, go all out for debate because we love what we do and we know we do have the potential to carry out what we can do. And though I feel as wasted (in the better sense of the word) as the rest of you, we have "nowhere to go but up." And no-one can ever blow up or poke the bomb shelter even if its sitting in the crater of a volcano or the centre of Iraq or the bottom of the ocean (okay like huh) because one for all, all for ben and jerrys. Well you know what we'll aim for and what we'll be.
At the end of the day.

Proper Debrief of the day :O
