![]() hey. i think i'll be blogging a little less here, haha. just blogged my heart out on the alison FC - oops, i mean the campaign blog meant for her haha. i hope you'll all visit it! (: not just to read my post lol. here, http://votealison.blogspot.com/ anyway, campaign rallying, giving out of souvenirs and stickers, has started. i'm pretty happy with the way things went today, but i'm sure we can do more (right, guys?) yeah so i'mma bringing a snare drum and cymbals on tuesday (if i can remember and lug it to school.) two things i'm gonna highlight in this post - -how to vote (from your heart) -child labour haha but first, happy youth day! Y haha principles of design, small words, got you to move closer, screams: GOTCHA! attention ![]() be you jolly homey young or old. we're all saints at heart. :D images credit to hakanphotography and unknown gifted photographer. okay. so on HOW TO VOTE, (FROM YOUR HEART!) today i saw something terribly odd in school today. yes, a procession of people campaigning. woohoo. but the weird thing was, not all of them were smiling and (it seemed) cheering wholeheartedly. why? so really, the very simple message is, vote from your heart. don't let anyone's power/position, big sweetly glaring eyes or overwhelming words overpower you. stick to your wishes, or if you truly feel convinced, go with the flow (of your own arteries.) yeah, i think how to discern who is the best candidate is through the rally styles and speeches (delivered on 9th july). so watch out for what's important, and don't let the rest cloud the BEST! next, about child labour. some of the youtube vids are quite scary): mrs nath is like obsessed with youtube. and technology, pretty much. i think she enjoys putting up stuff on edulearn. well the point is, it's really tragic how many children have to suffer, underpaid and restricted (from their own rights and freedom). There was this little boy in the video we watched in class, who had hurt himself badly because he was making some fireworks for a factory. he wasn't even allowed to ask for help, let alone a medical subsidy. the factory simply hushed the situation up, and threatened his family not to speak a word or they would all be fired. such horrendously real cruelty appeared in invisible welts on his disfigured, "melted" fingers - the cruelty of greed, and selfish human nature. there's a zillion other causes out there, and i know i'd be labelled a passive activist or something if i just started ranting: save the world. TODAY. because you know you have to. ladada. but this one has motivated me to raise my voice, and pray for their inward cries to be heard. to say that the world is unchanging is terribly off the mark. to say that there are some things which never change may be true. like torturing mr koh in math class, although he is a nice man. ^^ or two justice being wacky and funny when bargaining with teachers about homework. to say that the world is a confusing planet now that is absolute fact. some care, some don't. i hope that there is still love in the world to fuel the hopes of many. ? -where is the love black eyed peas relevance. oh this weekend, there is much to do. like the tonsssss of homework. glad tingxie's over. did my best in two days! there's drama journal too. i think i'm pretty convicted that i'm not dropping this sub haha. it's all i've got when i feel like i'm too confined to the world of endless chapters in boring textbooks, plus i get to develop in more ways than one through the lessons. soyup, nothing's changing there. &-) i notice that & is a fish balancing a circle on it's head. ((: p.s: comments/advice are greatly appreciated if you wish to help me out with (drama) indiv! -hugs- theme: what it's like to be a girl. if this is too touchy for you, "wrong number". :D
