Y CONGRATULATIONS LEESHUQING (JERICHO) FOR BEING ELDDS PRESIDENT 2009/2010 :D Y I have really always believed in you since Secondary 1, when we first joined LD! Remember how we were all so freaking scared for the auditions and kept going: omg omg how if I don't get in the queue for the auditions is so long am I really better than all of them can I get in?? It's such a privilege how if I don't get in! but we made it through together, Green Badge 2007. And it was a year where we all got to know each other better :) We always complained about debate remember, and vowed we would all go to drama together.Haha. How wrong that hypothesis was, if we could see into the future, right now :D But in Sec 2 when I went to debate and you went to drama and even Sec 3 when LD officially split, I have always felt a connection to ELDDS! though debate no longer belongs to it. And I will always support you as a friend and ex-LDian :D be confident in yourself, I have always heard you rant about injustices in LD and to the sec 3s and I KNOW you can make a difference. (L), you're unbelievable. CONGRATS TO JOLYNE TAN LI MIN (cannot always be confused with the other Jolyne haha.) for getting into LD comm :) Hillary, Tricia (hoping this big CAPS of your name will not boost your ego further ;D), and the rest of LD Comm 2009/2010. Believe in yourselves! (L) So the term has officially ended, heck care about the word officially, I'm still returning to school tomorrow :D But I'm really happy I survived the first ever, ardous 3 TESTS IN A SINGLE DAY day, and week. And the rest of this hectic term. I didn't do as well as Term 1 but I'm becoming more independent and relying on myself in terms of academics so. Deproving is all my fault ! Hahaha just kidding. Must really thank God for still sustaining. Sorry this structure is so looking like Shu Qing's blog post, but yes I do remember more important facts by reading her post :D WE WILL BE GOING TO UK THE UK TRIP IS BACK ON DUKY IS BACK ON JAI HO! 7 June - 17 June. Pure. Magic. Don't get'chyer knickers in a twist. But it will be amazing. Means, I need to pray for this shopping 'curse' to be lifted! Yay hope to shop with Dramaddicts, if there's possibly time at all. I mean. CAP homework. CAP itself! Holiday homework. 11 pieces. + T3 Ting Xie. Aha wait. Stop. Pause. Freeze. Cleanse. Wipe all thoughts about homework and stress and studies from your cranium. Yeeeeeeeeeeessss. That's the way. As I was saying. God, please keep Singapore safe from the H1N1 virus. It has infiltrated SG but it would in time to come anyway, so now just happens to be the time. Also, keep all of us drama students and the teachers, Mr A Wong and Mrs W Ng safe! And the Ridings High kids. From all sicknesses. Touch wood. We're going to have a great time, if circumstances and mercy allow :D Much Ado About Nothing by the Singapore Repertory Theatre was excellent :) though I did critique on the stagehands being a constant distraction and the use of the elaborate fountain and pool not being fully maximised and was drowsy for the last 15 minutes but that's completely my fault :) The acting was great and the humour was fun and witty. The few namely 'stars' there did live up to their expectations, and made the night a most enjoyable one. Recommend you guys, anyone, to watch. Still playing @ Fort Canning Park! Oh, do bring tatami mats and a picnic basket amply stocked. Sec 4s. I know that other CCAs had their farewell today and we didn't have one! or at least I wasn't present if you guys did have a short little informal one. But what I want to say is I don't think I could ever say goodbye to you guys. We have known you'all... officially since 2008. And we've grown together. Faced so many difficulties together. Cried and screamed at each other and ended up hugging and sharing quotes with each other. Praying, especially with Claire, always beloved, at the helm, for the demise and 'kick their butts, woe the day they met SN debate' of every school during competitions. Baking. Planning to go to Escape Theme Park. I tell you, there is NO-THING we have not done together. One is blessed to have walked through such a journey with the most respected, admired yet friendly...people. One is unsure whether to call you a senior, role model or friend. The lines are often blurred. And this page with you has ended, and we will begin a new chapter; but it doesn't mean we'll never flip the pages and have a good laugh at our past memories; doesn't mean you guys will ever stop influencing our style of writing and doesn't mean you guys didn't make the biggest, brightest mark on our lives, in debate, and as people. Cause you did. And "To be, or not to be: that is the question" - William Shakespeare's Hamlet , Act 3 Scene 1, Hamlet's soliloquy Cliche as it may sound, there has come a time that requires me to face these questions. And what will be my answer? It is requested quickly. Too quickly, for my taste. But Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be. And when I made my decision, I pray that it will be one with no regrets, with confidence, with assurance, with commitment, and I really really really want to make the best of it, not let people down, not let myself down. It's going to be a challenge. Heck, everything in life is going to be a challenge from now on. It's just how we conquer them. With our mind and with our heart.
